Suranah writup for Cohn 2005

This is a review of Cohn_2005_semantic_role_labelling_with_tree_conditional_random_fields by user:Suranah.

This work explores using CRFs for semantic role labeling. They use various features that can be modeled in the tree structure, including pair wise cliques which seem to be a rather novel approach. But, the paper does not compare its performance with either any baseline, nor explains any intuition behind the newer features used. As a result it is difficult to give much judgment on the paper.
