What do I hope to get out of the class?

I hope to know more about the phenomenon of the social media. The internet changed the human social behavior dramatically, utilizing some techniques we might get some theory out of it and make use of it in real life.

What kind project would I like to do?

I am still looking for ideas. One of the interesting area could go is mining the opinion from YouTube video, this could combining the visual and language cue of people.
