Also, although I have a few ideas in mind, I have not quite decided yet what kind of a project I should be doing for this course and am looking for project partners to work with. Feel free to email me if you want to brainstorm or if you are also in a similar position:)

About me

I am Miray Kas, a second year PhD student from ECE. Before joining CMU, I received my MS degree from Bilkent University, in June 2009, Turkey. My master's thesis was on channel access scheduling in wireless mesh networks.

I recently changed advisors and started to work with Rick Carley. This semester we will be working on a project in collaboration with CASOS research group from ISR, directed by Kathleen Carley. CASOS website: http://www.casos.cs.cmu.edu/

We expect our project to be focused on social networks, dynamic network analysis, and potentially some digital signal processing techniques. I registered for this course thinking that the skills I pick up from this course will be useful for my PhD research as well.
