WikiHow.com is a wiki-based social website which aims to build the world's largest and highest quality how-to manual. WikiHow.com is a branch of eHow.com which initiated at January 15, 2005 by [Jack Herrick ] and [Josh Hannah], co-founder of eHow.com. The main difference between WikiHow.com and eHow.com is that WikiHow.com alows users to contribute to the content of the website.

In December 2009, "wikiHow had 20 million unique readers from over 200 countries or territories. These 20 million different people visited us a total of over 25 million times in the month."<ref>Statistics - wikiHow. Accessed January 29, 2010.</ref>

Any user of WikiHow.com can add a new page to describe how to do a task. Articles in WikiHow.com should follow a specific format: steps, tips etc. should all be seperated in the text.
