Jaccard's coefficient is used by Liben-Nowell Kleinberg J. Am.Soc.Inf.Sci.2007.

Formal Definition

Jaccard's coefficient is an extension from Common neighbors and it is defined as

${\frac {|\Gamma (x)\cap \Gamma (y)|}{|\Gamma (x)\cup \Gamma (y)|}}$
