Sign Prediction

Sign prediction is closely related to the link prediction problem. Rather than predicting the presence or absence of a link as in link prediction, sign prediction concerns whether a link should have positive or negative sign. Informally, given a social network with signs of all edges known except for the edge from u to v (u,v), the goal is to predict the sign of (u,v) so that it's consistent with the observations.
