What I hope to gain from this course

Course credit and a knowledge of how to data mine twitter and blogs. I'd like to learn some analysis skills for topic modeling, as well as learn something about automated authorship attribution methods.

Possible project ideas

I'm currently leaning towards doing something with sentiment analysis or topic modeling. We'll see. If anyone wants to partner up, let me know.
