Hi, I am Junyang. I am currently on my final semester for the VLIS program. Together with Professor Eric Nyberg, I am currently working on adapting an existing CMU QA system (OAQA) to the IC (Intelligence) domain. I hope to be able to gain useful knowledge about IE from this class which would certainly be useful for my work (e.g. Extracting terrorism related entities from free-text).
