Analyzing comments

Analyzing comments may refer to analyzing the comments made by users on shared media such as blogs, news-stories, videos etc in order to find some useful phenomena in them. One attempt towards analyzing comments made on Youtube videos was made by Siersdorfer et. al in Analyzing_and_Predicting_Youtube_Comments_Rating:_WWW2010. Among other things, they aimed at predicting the ratings given to comments by users of the community.
