Background

Wang Ling (王零) is a student of the dual Ph.D. program in Language Technologies between Carnegie Mellon University and Instituto Superior Técnico, where he also received his master degree in 2009. He is a second year LTI student and his work is focused on Statistical Machine Translation. He is under supervision by Alan Black and Isabel Transcoso.

He is attending the Structured Prediction course to deepen his knowledge about prediction techniques for structured data used in many areas in Machine Translations such as Word Alignments.
