Who am I and why am I here?

Noah is an associate professor in LTI and MLD.

His main goals in teaching this course are to make sure that he stays current with recent work in natural language processing and machine learning and meets new students interested in this area. Co-teaching it with William seemed like a good way to learn more about William's work.

Superpowers

  • Noah's been building structured predictors since the early 1990s and reading papers about statistical NLP since the late 1990s. In 2011 he published a book about these topics.
  • All Noah's former superpowers have been transferred to the members of his research group.
